Tabletop Tavern is heavily inspired by my love of Total War and my crippling addiction to Roguelikes. I have always loved the battle mechanics and army building of Total War, but I wanted to fit that into an experience where I can sit down after work and play a complete session as opposed to have campaigns that last weeks.
I’m a self taught game dev who started learning game dev back in 2020 during the pandemic and never looked back! I’ve always been obsessed with Total War’s army-building and tactical battles, but I craved a roguelike twist. A game where I could dive into a short session after work and feel the rush of a complete, satisfying run. Tabletop Tavern is that dream brought to life.
